My Island

In class we have been learning about longitude and latitude so we have made a web page of our own island. My island has a flag, map, national animal and a picture of my island. My island is on the coast of France and Spain that is why it is callled Frain.

Goal Setting

When I'm older my goal is to be a doctor because you help people. These are the steps i can take now:

~Listen
~Study lots in High School

They are the steps i have to take.

Standards day

On Wednesday we had standards day. It was fun, i got mostly twos which is good.
These are the events:

High Jump
Long Jump
Shot Put
Discus
Sprints

My favourite ones are high Jump and Shot Put :)

Debating

Hi
We have been organizing our debating teams. My team is me, Taylah and Stefan. And we are doing our debate on do zoos do more harm to animals than good because we think that zoos are cruel to animals.

New moon

New Moon is coming out at the theaters soon.

Google

Today in class Mr E showed us a new way to find information on Google. Me, Amber & Brooklyn looked up Turtles. We normally just use google but now we can use google square and "show options" button for more options like wonder wheel, time line and columns.Here are some pictures of the time line and wonder wheel :)

Game maker

Today me and Brooklyn we went on game maker.It was fun but it was hard and confusing at the same time. But it was funny to look at. you chose a ghost and make a maze for it to go around but when he touches the wall he shakes. ha ha

Today in class we had science with Mr W and we tested the different types of acid

• Vinegar
• Water and baking soda
• Lemonade
• Meths
• Washing powder
• Citric Acid

Vinegar turned to pink it's an Acid

Water and baking soda turned green it's an Alkali

Lemonade stayed purple that means nether

Meths stayed purple nether

Washing powder turned green it's Alkali

Citric acid pink it's an Acid

I thought it was very interesting learning about this.

boy in the striped pyjamas

Lately i have been reading the book boy in the striped pyjamas.
Is about a rich boy Named Bruno and he lives in berlin, Who's dad is a commandant for Hitler in the war and they moved to a house near the outwith, Bruno made friends with a jewish boy in the outwith on the other side of the outwith fence. The people in the outwith wear the same clothes, that look like blue and white striped pyjamas thats where the name comes from.

I thought it was a good book and it was very interesting i think you should read it.
But it was sad at the very end .

I would give it a rating 5 stars
